New database resource: Infotherm
As of now the the web-based database
by FIZ Chemie Berlin can be accessed.
Infotherm provides information on measured thermophysical properties of about 34'000 pure chemical compounds and their mixtures along with full bibliographic data. About 405'000 tables contain PVT-properties, phase equilibria, transport and surface properties, caloric, acoustic and optical properties. About 200 thermodynamic and physical properties, which can be combined with with 25 conditions and 22 equilibrium types, can be searched. The database grows by about 1'000 tables per month. Infotherm is of great value especially for chemical engineering and process engineering.
