Use of VPP

Sending print jobs

1. www.vpp.ethz.ch
2. choose Send PDF VPP Job in the top-right box
3. Enter username, destination and device

Fetching the printouts and accounting

All print jobs have to be released using the Print-Release / Prepay station in HCI G 6.1 and will be debited to your VPP account.
Release station and printers are located in HCI G 6.1.

Checking your VPP account

Your VPP account can be checked at www.passwort.ethz.ch. Please login with your nethz credentials and choose "meine Services > Credit", where you can check your credit and reload it by paying with your credit card. The credit can also be reloaded in HIL C 36.1 for cash.
Research groups can use a group account. Please ask the IT coordinator of your institute for setting up an account.

Checking the print jobs

Print job status can be checked using the VPPSpy tool for our destination HCIG6-1 .
