Regulations and Hints

The VPP stations in the Information Center are color printers, so only color documents should be submitted for printing.

Since 1st of September 2003 all printouts must be paid. Before sending a print job, please consult the VPP price list (only in german). Printed jobs may be collected at the information desk. For the settlement of accounts, please come along with the following information:

"Leitzahl" of your group or institute
Credit number (ask your group secretary)

Without above information delivery of printouts is unfortunately not possible.

Printouts which fall in private or industry tariff can be paid cash at the information desk.

Please always print with a header page, so that printouts can be correctly assigned.

Access to the VPP printer room is only granted to library staff.

Don't send files in pdf, Word or PowerPoint format, the printers can handle only PostScript. Always use the driver and ppd-file for the target printer while creating a Postscript file.

According to our experience, printout of posters that have been sent by the pdf send form of VPP service, is not working.
