The Electronic Library (room HCI G2) may be used by ETH members for database searches and for viewing electronic documents on CD-ROMs (holdings in CLICAPS). The PCs may be used for general work such as word processing, etc. It also serves as seminar room for courses in scientific information. During the opening hours, the Electronic Library is supervised. ETH members can access the room using their student or staff ID card and the access control system at the entrance.
For writing of reports Microsoft Office is available on all computers. Documents and pictures can be scanned using a color scanner A4 and processed with an image editor software. Print Release Station is available for printout of documents from laptops and installed computers.

Use of hard- and software is regulated according to the Benutzungsordnung für Telematik of ETH Zürich.
