Symyx DiscoveryGate: Access

The license negotiated with Symyx for DiscoveryGate permits access only to ETH members (instructors, students, and staff) for use for education and research at ETH Zurich. Extension of the license to exernal users was not allowed by Symyx.

Hence, it is forbidden to

• grant access to DiscoveryGate to third parties who are not members of ETH Zurich
• pass search results of DiscoveryGate to third parties no beeing members of ETH Zurich and to carry out searches for third parties.

Therefore, it is not allowed to install DiscoveryGate on PCs which are publicly accessible and not under surveillance.
