Computers

16 computers (6 PCs, 10 Macs) are installed in the public areas. They allow access to the internet and databases (SciFinder Scholar, CrossFire Beilstein and Gmelin, CAonCD).

Users doing literature and scientific searches have priority.

For special database searches 8 computers are installed in the supervised course room G2 (Electronic Library).

Regulations

The installation of private or downloaded software as well as the reconfiguration of preinstalled software is prohibited. In special cases the IT coordinator may make concessions.

Printouts are debited to the copy card.

Use of hard- and software ist regulated according to the Benutzungsordnung für Telematik of ETH Zürich.
