Installation
- Download the CA_OSX.zip file by using the link
http://www.infochembio.ethz.ch/download/CA_OSX.zip
- Unpacking this file will create CA_OSX folder containing an application icon CA on CD™ OSX, a network license file nethasp.ini, and a preferences file org.cas.CACD.plist
- Copy CA on CD™ OSX icon in the Applications folder. You may also drag this icon from the Applications folder to the dock for a quick startup of CA on CD.
- Copy nethasp.ini file in your home directory. For example, /Users/"username" where username (=your name) is your home directory
- Copy org.cas.CACD.plist file to /Users/"username"/Library/Preferences folder
Starting CA on CD
- From the Finder window create a file share to the CA on CD database by means of connection to the server smb://infocb-w2k031.ethz.ch/CA/ (Finder menu Go > Connect to Server ...). The required authentication is affected by supplying Username as ChemAbs1 and Password as Test98 .
- Click on the CA on CD™ OSX icon in the dock and choose the database you would like to open.
